About Anil Sharma

Dr. Anil Sharma believes strongly in the importance of seeing the patient as a person, not as a diagnosis or series of symptoms. To this end, he takes a collaborative approach to care with his patients and partners with them to address their health needs. Dr. Sharma’s fellowship included dedicated training in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Before coming to The Oregon Clinic, he focused on training the next generation of gastroenterologists, serving as core faculty for the GI fellowship program at OHSU and the Portland VA Medical Center. Dr. Sharma also led educational efforts at the local, regional, and national levels.
