About Ian B. Holmes
Dr. Holmes was drawn to Gastroenterology because of the longitudinal relationships with patients, the exciting advances in the field of therapeutic endoscopy, and the intellectual challenge of taking care of several interlinked organ systems. Dr. Holmes completed a therapeutic endoscopy fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he received advanced training in therapeutic EUS, ERCP, stenting of the gastrointestinal tract, endoscopic suturing, double-balloon enteroscopy, Barrett’s ablation, and other skills.
