Dr. Rex sees the full picture of treating my colitis. I also see a rheumatologist and a pulmonologist. Some of the treatments overlap.

This was an initial visit with Dr. Cheng to discuss a condition and future procedures needed. We discussed several options and he walked me through each of the treatment options detailing pros/cons. I very much appreciated that. He listened to what I had to say and provided thoughtful responses. I felt fully informed and good about the decisions that were made.

He made me feel I wasn't important or worth his time to help me. He wasn't respectful or kind and he was sarcastic. I was shocked speechless.

I would not recommend this provider. The issue wasn't an inability to communicate, but an outright unwillingness. His negative and dismissive attitude created a barrier to care, making it impossible to address my concerns. The appointment was a complete waste of time and resources due solely to his poor demeanor.

Thank you Dr. Cheng, for your compassion you and your team demonstrated. I never experienced this before in my life. The nurse heard me say that my 25yr daughter needed to go to ER for mental health and I was early for my appt and told him I can stay until 430pm. The nurse immediately ask the doctor about this situation. The Dr. Saw me and the mtg was efficient and professional and I got the meds and an colonoscopy appt too. The scheduler called me right away and spoke so soft voice and gentle and I got an appt. The nurse was encouraging and made sure I got my vitals done. I was on time to see my daughter and were able to make it to providence Urgent care. Thank you! It makes me cry that the team helped me!

After a bout of the flu, I have been having stomach & bowl issues for the past 5 months. Seeing PC dr., numerous times, followed instructions, no change. Finally made an apptm w/ Dr. Cheng. He spent time listening & talking to me. I think he figured out the issue. Mentally I was in a bad place due to ongoing issues. After seeing Dr. Cheng I am doing better.

Dr. Cheng was wonderful. What I especially appreciated was that as he was giving me my future instructions, he was typing them also. When I received my paperwork afterwards, there were the wriitten instructions, the same as he verbalized to me. I didn't have to rely on my memory, especially when one is not feeling well.

Dr. Cheng worked with me when I had a UC flare that lasted many months. He worked with me until it was under control. When I met with him he already had a plan for the future and is very invested in my health. I highly recommend Dr. Cheng to anyone needing a GI Doctor. I did recommend him to my husband who will be seeing him later this week!
