About Meena Said
Dr. Said obtained two undergraduate degrees and graduated summa cum laude from UCLA. She then attended the UCLA School of Medicine and received the highest honor bestowed upon a medical student, The Deans Merit Scholarship. She has a strong internal medicine background, having completed an internal medicine internship at UCLA before pursuing her general surgery residency at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. She completed the prestigious Endocrine Surgery Fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. She is active in endocrine surgery research and has several recent peer reviewed publications as well as numerous academic presentations.
