C. Brice B. Bouffard, PA

As a surgical physician assistant, Christopher, who goes by his middle name, Brice, is passionate about continuity of care for his patients. “I enjoy seeing patients from start to finish throughout their surgical journey,” he says, “from answering questions in their pre-operative consult to assisting in their surgery and following their progress post-operatively.”

Brice is an astute listener who understands that patients know their bodies better than anyone. Although surgery is his specialty, he recognizes the importance of treating patients holistically, considering their mental and social well-being along with their physical condition. “I enjoy meeting patients from all walks of life and being a part of their care team during a vulnerable time in their lives,” he says.

Born and raised in Georgia, Brice earned his undergraduate degree at Columbus State University, on the state’s western border. He then earned his Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from the South College Physician Assistant Program in Atlanta where he graduated summa cum laude and was awarded “Clinical Student of the Year.”

Before pursuing medicine, Brice was a musician. A former clarinetist, he holds a bachelor’s degree in music in addition to extensive pre-medical science coursework.
