About Shelby J. Sackett
I am a graduate physician assistant originally from Boise, ID currently working in Medford, OR in general surgery. I greatly enjoy the valley and all it has to offer for recreation and activities. I attended Boise State University for my undergraduate degree in health sciences and worked in ophthalmology before starting PA school. I then attended Idaho State University where I completed my Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. I enjoy seeing patients from preoperative to the post-operative environment, caring for them at each step of the way. I like taking time with my patients to truly understand their backgrounds and expectations. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband backpacking, hiking, and sailing. I also enjoy spending time with my dog who is an 8-year-old Husky.
