About Sabrina E. Drexel
Dr. Drexel is passionate about complex abdominal wall hernia care and continues to incorporate new techniques into her practice. She is a leader in robotic hernia surgery and has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally. She serves on numerous committees for national societies and has a focus on studying hernia disease in women and in patients with obesity. She strives to offer an individualized approach for each patient in order to achieve optimal outcomes. Dr. Drexel is passionate about complex abdominal wall hernia repair and strives to perform minimally invasive hernia techniques to improve patient outcomes. Her other academic interests include endoscopic treatments of the esophagus, stomach, and colon. She is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), and the Association of Women Surgeons.

Dr Sabrina Drexel was amazing. I ending up needing an emergency surgery. I was nervous to say the least. However, after meeting Dr. Drexel I was relieved. First, she took the time to listen to my history and genuinely seem to care about hearing it in my words. Her confidence when talking about the procedure made we feel at ease. All the way through the surgery everyone I can into contact with was kind and did everything to make me feel comfortable. Overall, I was beyond impressed with the end to end service from the quickness to get a referral to a surgeon to having the surgery complete. Amazing, I hope I never need another surgery but I will 100% ask for Dr. Drexel if It's needed.
