This was my first, new patient visit with Dr. Drexel. I asked to be referred to her for assessment and repair of my inguinal hernia, based on her level of patient satisfaction and the large number of such surgeries she has performed. While I have every reason to believe she will provide outstanding care, it was just my first visit. It went very well and I am confident about the proposed surgery and her skills, but I can't provide a final, overall review at this time. I also feel some of the questions on the survey should allow for "I don't know" responses. For example, did the provider have my health records? She is a specialist outside of my PCP clinic, which does not use MyChart. I filled out the health questionnaire for Providence, but I just don't know if she had access to all my health records. Other than these points, I had a very good visit with Dr. Drexel, learned what to expect from the surgery and its aftermath, and had all my questions answered. Thank you.

Dr Sabrina Drexel was amazing. I ending up needing an emergency surgery. I was nervous to say the least. However, after meeting Dr. Drexel I was relieved. First, she took the time to listen to my history and genuinely seem to care about hearing it in my words. Her confidence when talking about the procedure made we feel at ease. All the way through the surgery everyone I can into contact with was kind and did everything to make me feel comfortable. Overall, I was beyond impressed with the end to end service from the quickness to get a referral to a surgeon to having the surgery complete. Amazing, I hope I never need another surgery but I will 100% ask for Dr. Drexel if It's needed.

Dr. Drexel is an exceptional doctor in many ways. Communication skills; detailed, but easily understand information about my health issue, clear and concise descriptions of my hernia and different treatment options that were clearly described, easy to relate to and relaxed manner of interaction. I feel very confident in her skills and ability to provide me with the very best care. It is uncommon for me to place this level of trust in someone I just met for only a few minutes. Dr. Drexel is a keeper! Make sure you treat her well and retain her on your staff!
