Sacred Heart Hospital is large and spread out. Returning equipment was daunting, time consuming, and disorganized. Any interaction with my provider was excellent, however.

Dr Bax is a surgeon. I do not se him on a regular basis., I have seen him before for other surgeries. He is very good and answers all my questions. He is very respectful.

My experience with Dr. Bax, I would rate a 10+! He was professional, listened, and explained my situation and provided a solution with the understanding that I would check back in a month. He is conservative in his approach before immediately thinking of surgery.

Great provider, very positive visit. As with most specialists, I want able to get an appointment for several months. Dr. Bad turned out to be worth the wait. Reception was away from desk when we arrived so we waited about 5-10 minutes to check in, then waited about 15 minutes to be seen. This happens to everyone from time to time, but advanced scheduling tools should make this less of a problem than it was in this case. It's frustrating to have to wait longer than 10 minutes if you arrive on time (a couple of minutes early in this case) because I am as busy as the providers in this practice and my time is valuable too. This is the only area I could criticize because Dr Bax provided an excellent consultation and his nurse was pitch-perfect.

Appreciated the drawings and explanation of the hernia and the professional manner of Dr Bax.and that he answered all our questions.
