Rebecca Haskins, MS, LCGC

Rebecca Haskins is a board-certified, licensed genetic counselor specializing in cancer genetics. She received her Bachelor of Science in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and her Master of Science in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College. Rebecca previously worked in a zebrafish lab at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where she helped identify mechanisms leading to the development of leukemia and other hematological diseases. With over 15 years of experience in providing cancer genetics risk assessments, Rebecca is an invaluable and distinguished expert in our field. She supports our Personalized Cancer Screening and Prevention clinic for patients with elevated cancer risks and works closely with our entire Providence Orange County genetics team as the lead coordinator of both our high-risk Pancreatic Cancer Screening and Prevention Program and our population screening CARE Program in Endoscopy Same-Day Genetics Clinics. Rebecca is the senior genetic counselor for and primarily sees patients at our St. Jude Medical Center, Crosson Cancer Institute, location in Fullerton, CA.
