Joanie M. Hope, MD

Dr. Joanie Mayer Hope is dedicated to supporting women with gyn cancers and raising awareness about women’s health issues. In 2012, she founded Let Every Woman Know- Alaska, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about gyn cancers throughout the state. She is also a mother, an athlete, and passionate about music. Dr. Hope is lead singer in the nationally recognized rock band, No Evidence of Disease (N.E.D.) that consists of six (6) Gyn Oncologists on a mission to bring attention to and promote awareness of gyn cancers. N.E.D. tours nationally and is the subject of a feature length documentary titled N.E.D. produced by Spark Media and to be released nationally in 2014.
