Dr. Desai is the best.

I felt like this provider was unnecessarily brusque with the assisting nurse, and she also seemed to expect my procedure to fail despite my having gone through it several times previously without incident. Also, as a note I didn't find the provider's slow, incremental approach to be less uncomfortable than the quick method, it just was uncomfortable for longer. Overall, I was glad the team reached out to me to schedule the appointment, but I was confused because in mychart it just said new patient appointment and didn't mention the specific purpose of the appointment. There were no pre-appointment instructions which would have been helpful, which my PCP has provided in the past.

She suggested ways I could avoid needing her services today, and I agreed not to receive any services during this visit. I only received a bad attitude from one doctor who said I was a nuisance to him.

A short/abrupt visit with this doctor. What is common place for her is NOT common place for me.

She had really combed through all the records that were available and discussed wanting to see older records, which I sent through the portal. I was impressed by her thoroughness, intelligence and thoughtfulness.

This appointment was followed by up for MRI result which could be just some notes under MRI results but she didn't explain there. I scheduled virtual due to my work schedule, a day before appointment I got a call to come in person due to insurance issues! I arrived late because of work schedule! The provider didn't spend enough time because I was late! The verbiage she used was so professional and I wouldn't understand. I ended up reading the MRI result myself. To me this appointment did not help me to understand the result at all. It could have been very easier. I have to monitor my condition every year and I beed her to order me ultrasound otherwise I would have not go to her anymore. I feel they just wanted to charge me for a visit which was not necessary at all. All if this could be a note under the results, since it was no further action needed due to result!

Dr. DeSai has been my Gynecologist for more than 5 years. I trust her with my care and appreciate the care she provides.

Dr Desai is a good listener and gives treatment options clearly.

My visit with Dr. Dasai lasted 3 minutes. She denied my request, which I understand, but my request for alternative was basically ignored. She suggested I see a dermatologist for something unrelated to dermatology. It was a gynecological question. I left with no good lead on where to turn. Plus it was difficult to make the appointment. Gyns are scarce. I had to wait about 8 weeks to get in for an appointment. Total waste of my time. Fortunately the doctor only had to waste 3 minutes.

Dr. Desai is a fabulous health care provider. I have been to see her twice in the last three months and have felt heard, understood, and well cared for. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Desai was very helpful answering my question about my problems.

It took a long time to get the appointment due to only one gynecologist for pacific medical. Care was exceptional once I saw her.

Dr. Desai struck me as a very knowledgeable if overworked doctor (like most at PacMed). She explained the biopsy procedure in great detail and warned me of any pain I might have (I did not). The only reason I gave her a 9 instead of a 10 was because she didn't have the time to answer all my questions. But really, that's not on her.

Appointment and wait time were extremely efficient. Really like and respect Dr. Desai!

Pacific Medical Clinics are the best: doctors as well as staff.

She understands me and has empathy. Explains how things are going and advises me accordingly. I feel like I'm in very good care. I'm grateful to have her as my doctor.

I would like to clarify my response to an earlier question - Please note that staff confirmed my prescription meds that I was on at every visit. However, we didn't necessarily "talk about it". Recommend that you revise the wording of the question to provide clarity. As for my care provider, I like her practical, forthright communication regarding my health issues.

Many staff members from Pac-Med have cared for my husband and I. And we are very pleased with the care we have received.

Overall, excellent experience. I trust the provider with my care and my surgery. My surgery is two full months out, unfortunately, but I am willing to wait to work with the provider. The one piece of feedback I have is regarding compassion and trauma-informed care: when someone expresses co cern for previous doctors' care, try to understand and respond with compassion. Minimizing patient experiences can have grave consequences for the patient. I, in particular, need reassurance, not judgement. So not defend other doctors out of loyalty over patient care. Period.
