Martha Wegner, OTD, OTR/L

Martha Wegner, OTD, OTR/L, brings an integrative, whole-person perspective to outpatient rehabilitation. Before earning her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Pacific University in 2015, she studied sociology at the University of Minnesota Duluth and spent over a decade in wilderness therapy and adaptive recreation—experience that still shapes how she views the environment, movement, and nervous system response. Martha treats a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions, including upper-extremity and hand injuries, nerve injuries, concussions, chronic headaches and migraines, functional vision difficulties, and sensory processing and autonomic nervous system challenges. Her manual therapy skills include osteopathic techniques such as neural manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and myofascial release (learn more at https://www.barralinstitute.com/courses/nm and https://www.upledger.com/courses/discover), which she combines with guided exercise and education to support motor relearning, autonomic regulation, and functional participation. Care is individualized and trauma-sensitive, built around each person’s goals, capacity, and daily life. Outside of work, Martha enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, spending time with family and friends, and tending her land.
