I was sent by Urgent Care for a finger fracture, so I visited this orthopedic clinic for the first time. I had a quick reservation, but I left a message in the morning. I can't reach you and have to go somewhere else? I was still wondering, so I called again. I heard the reservation was already booked for the day I wanted~ If the reservation was made, I thought it would have been nice to at least send a text message to the person themselves. I am uncomfortable with English. A friend introduced Mychart to me, so I installed the app. It actually says something~ After visiting the hospital, I was so happy that I really want to switch my primary care physician there. It's a bit scary. Because of the language~~ doctors can just find Korean doctors. The other nurses are foreigners. It took courage~ I was very satisfied with the hospital.

Dr Tham is friendly, knowledgeable and excellent Doctor.

He was friendly, kind and listened well during the diagnostic portion of the consultation. He explained the x-ray, checked my hands for nerve tingling and reactions and thoroughly explained what he was doing. He diagnosed Dupuytren's (I'd never heard of this before) in my right hand and osteoarthritis in both hands, and let me know that these were progressive conditions that would worsen over time. This was hard for me to hear, and I asked if there was anything I could do to mitigate the difficulties I was having with dropping things and loss of feeling in my fimgers besides bracing and supportive measures, gels and the like. He advised me to "Save your hands for the things you love." There wasn't anything more to be done now but if/when things worsen, to come back. He was practically out the door at this point. I left this appointment feeling very discouraged, old and as if the rest of my life would be about living smaller and smaller. I'm 68 and in good health, and I use my hands professionally for computer work and writing as well as leisure activities such as crochet, cooking and gardening. I didn't seek out this appointment for surgical intervention. I wanted a diagnosis, a benchmark to know what I was dealing with, and a prognosis - which I got. But unfortunately, what I also heard that there really wasn't much I could do but to hope for the best while things got worse. I've since looked online and learned a lot more about arthritis in relation to nutrition, inflammation, stretching, stress/mood etc that have given me real hope for dealing with this more effectively. I've noticed differences already. This is a quality of life issue, and so far as patient care goes, I think it's just as important as dealing medically with bones and joints and all the rest. Hand-in-glove so to speak. I could've walked out of that office feeling much better than I did that day with having heard just a bit of encouragement and being pointed in the direction of non-surgical and non-medical resources.

Dr. Allen and his staff were charming and very helpful during my visit. They were quick to call my name and diagnosed my problem. I had done extensive research on my condition before I went to Dr. Allen, so I wasn't unfamiliar with what he had to say, but it was reassuring nonetheless.

My experience from the receptionist, to xray tech, to Dr.s assist, to DrTham was excellent. All were efficient, friendly, helpful! In my process of finding out from Dr. Tham I would getting a cast versus surgery on my wrist.

Dr. Tham helped take care of my issues, but the appointment was rushed and I felt like I couldn't even ask a question because he was already on his way out the door. I wished he would have asked if I had any questions and explained more about what to expect from my treatment.

I see this Dr every 3 months for a cortisone injection in my left writ.

Provider was knowledgeable and caring. Please book xray and doctor appointments closer than an hour apart. The wait was too long after the xray. Please hold on to the paperwork for patients that have limitations.

I had wrist surgery with Dr Tham and it has made my hand much better.

Dr. Tham did an excellent job explaining everything to me and asking me important questions about my condition. He was respectful, provided solutions, and talked with a positive energy. However, Dr. Tham went to go talk to the person in charge of scheduling surgeries and never returned. I did not know he would not return. When the other nurses came to talk to me, I asked to continue speaking to Dr. Tham but for some reason he was not able to return. I would have liked to know if I need to see Dr. Tham again before my surgery, I am still not sure to be honest.

I was amazed by the excellent care I received. I received a referral for Dr. Tham at St. Jude Heritage Urgent Care on Saturday, and it was approved that day. On Monday morning I called and they made an appointment for Tuesday morning. I got x-rays, saw Dr. Tham and had a cast put on my wrist. I also received excellent information for home care. I am so grateful for the high level of care and how kind everyone was to me. I have been telling my coworkers, family and friends about this great experience!!!

My primary care provider, Dr. Bradley Borsari, is top notch in all respects, and I'm so grateful that he is my PCP. His referrals for specialty care have also been outstanding, the most recent being Dr. Daskalakis for a hernia surgery and now to Dr. Tham for an issue with my finger. There are a lot of really good people at Providence St. Jude which is why I continue to go there even though I moved to [Location] 13 years ago....I don't want to lode my good doctors and care team!

Very quick from getting Xray to seeing orthopedist to getting arm in a cast. Person who wrapped the cast was very careful and did a great job -everyone was friendly and even the imaging guy said he loved his job?

Once I had the appointment, it was very streamlined and I was in and out of the office in 15 minutes. It was a very long wait time to get the appointment. I was injured on December [Date] and couldn't get an appointment until Geno.

Dr. Tham was professional, friendly, and accessible in the short time that I met with him.

I was totally impressed with Dr. Tham as well the Physician Assistant who gave me my injection!! Both were friendly, knowledgeable, and provided great care. That was my first time in that office and I will definitely go there again if I have any further orthopedic issues.
