About Adnan A. Khan
Adnan A. Khan, M.D., is an assistant clinical professor of medical oncology and therapeutics research at City of Hope® South Bay, where he cares for patients diagnosed with a wide range of cancer types. His approach is rooted in trust and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those he treats. Dr. Khan helps patients explore treatment options that reflect their personal values and goals. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, where he also participated in the university’s Global and Urban Health and Equity (GLUE) Program, which focuses on advancing health equity for vulnerable populations. Dr. Khan completed his internal medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center in Oakland, California, followed by a hematology-oncology fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California, where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Khan is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. His research has been published on topics such as HPV vaccination, multiple myeloma and pancreatic cancer. Outside of work, Dr. Khan enjoys playing and watching basketball, spending time at the beach with his family and unwinding with reality television.
