About Rodina Vatanparast
Rodina Vatanparast, M.D., began her medical training at an early age while attending King Drew Medical Magnet High School affiliated with UCLA Medical Center. There, she had the opportunity to perform bench research in oncology, and her desire to care for patients using leading-edge research and medical advancements drew her to hematology/oncology as a specialty.
Dr. Vatanparast feels that her specialty in affiliation with the City of Hope gives her the unique opportunity to deliver the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art, and personalized cancer care while empowering patients to make informed decisions. She has served as chief medical resident overseeing 150 internal medicine residents, chaired a number of committees, and published in major medical journals, including JCO, Blood, and British Medical Journal. She has participated in over 80 clinical trials.
Dr. Vatanparast has been awarded "Super Doctors of Los Angeles" for more than three years and Los Angeles Business Journal's "Top Doctor" in 2021.
