Walter W. Tsang, MD

Walter Tsang, MD, is board-certified in medical oncology, hematology, internal medicine and lifestyle medicine. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at Northwestern University, and completed his medical education, residency and subspecialty fellowship at UC Irvine School of Medicine. As a passionate advocate for whole-person cancer care, Dr. Tsang carefully considers each patients' physical, emotional, spiritual and social factors in clinical decision making. He emphasizes patient empowerment, holistic wellness, quality of life, supportive care, and realistic goals and expectations. Outside of clinical practice, he teaches integrative medicine and oncology at local universities. His research interests include cancer prevention, survivorship, patient-centered healthcare and value-based oncology. Dr. Tsang is an active member of American Society of Clinical Oncology, Society for Integrative Oncology, and American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
