Precise and professional yet warm and personable, Dr. Ahmed is the oncological embodiment of the proverb If all you have is a hammer, all you see are nails: When you walk into her office she has you in her tractor beam and she doesn't release you until she has surfaced every last, errant cell. She is a cancer hammer, laser-focused on finding every nail in your body. So whether you are facing cancer or you are gratefully putting it in your rearview mirror, you can have no more dedicated, thorough oncologist in your corner. But did I mention that she is just the loveliest, warmest person? So perhaps we should call her a Velvet Hammer.

She makes me feel very confident in her care of me.

I realize that she may be late to my appt time, but I know it's because she is providing her patients the same respect she gives me when I'm with her.

She told me to follow up with ENT but forgot to send a referral for audiology, which is required before seeing the ENT provider. .On the excellent side, she was able to arranged new genetic testing for cancer which was not available years ago when I was first diagnosed with cancer.

I am very grateful that I have Dr Ahmed as my oncologist. She and her staff have guided me through breast cancer and ongoing care for Polycythemia Vera. Its a balancing act and they are well prepared.

Since transportation to Dr. Ahmed's downtown office is very difficult, I was so appreciative that I could do the virtual appointment. All went perfectly!

Dr Ahmed is extremely thorough, clear, and kind. She is always up to date on all the latest technology related to cancer detection and shares these resources, their pros and cons, and their availability. She also is very straightforward about where I stand in my journey as a post-cancer patient and goes through the entire history each time. She is a truly top-notch provider.

She was willing to listen. She listened to all my questions and concerns patiently and responded in a friendly and understanding way. She's a good provider.

Most of my appointments now are for infusions I just see her on the first day of the three day routine. The providers in infusion are always ready whether I'm on time or early.
