I am under routine care for a chronic condition. I can easily make my appointments and get in, as the provider recommends. I see an MD every other visit, and an APP between visits. I know there is a shortage of specialists in Providence, and my choices are limited. Though I feel my specialist is competent, I don't feel I have much rapport with them, and when I have questions it feels like I am questioning their expertise--rather than just trying to better understand my health condition. As such, I don't feel I'm able to navigate confidence in the care provided to me because it's awkward to ask questions. And, honestly--I know I'm fortunate to even get to see a specialist. It makes me sad for myself, but also for other patients and truly---even for the specialists who clearly have a full plate and so many demands on them.

I did not feel that the practitioner showed genuine concern for my situation. The tone of the visit came across as condescending and I felt that my questions or concerns were not taken seriously. I felt I was being dismissed which made it difficult for me to trust the care being provided. I hope the clinic can encourage more compassionate communication.

The providers see to really care. And, I definitely need that during my illness!

I love the appointments I have had at this office. The receptionists are very friendly and eager to help. I feel very welcome and comfortable. There was a new person doing her trial period and it was obvious she will be a good fit. She was most concerned with not making me wait longer than necessary even though it was taking her a little longer than normal to get me checked in. Lisa is the BEST. She goes out of her way to answer my questions and explain everything to me.
