About Somnath V. Ganapa
Dr. Somnath Ganapa is an internist who is proud to serve at St. Joseph Hospital. He completed the 7-Year Medical Program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha Honors. He returned to his hometown of Los Angeles to complete his internal medicine training at UCLA-Olive View Hospital.
Dr. Ganapa practices the full scope of general medicine, striving to continue to learn about disease processes affecting all organ systems. He believes firmly in educating patients about their conditions and examining the underlying causes of their diseases.
Outside of work, Dr. Ganapa loves to spend time with his wife and one-year-old daughter. He also enjoys reading Catholic theology and philosophy.
