He earned his medical degree from Midwestern University, completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Arizona – Phoenix, and completed fellowship training in infectious diseases at Oregon Health & Science University. Outside of medicine, Dr. Carpenter enjoys spending time with his partner and their four dogs, as well as traveling and exploring new places.

This provider explained the problems I was having taking some prescription medicines due to the effects of taking antibiotic pills. He explained why I was so cold how they new pills were effecting two prescriptions I was taking. I really appreciated it as no other doctor I'm seeing about this issue bothered explaining this to me!
