Adrian Lena, MD

This is my first visit with Dr. Lena who will become my permanent GP. My previous GP was promoted to an administrative position and is sorely missed but looking forward to my future care under Dr. Lena.

This was my first experience as my previous HP has moved on to administration...The new HP is at the beginning of his pro medical life and he did very well as he becomes familiar with my particular situation and history...he has big "scrubs" to fill as my earlier HP was more than warm and excellent! I have trust and confidence that he will be a fine doctor.

This was my first visit with this provider (previous provider now medical director). Provider was patient, listened well, gave me useful information about my situation. Made a follow-up appointment with a nurse at the time of this visit which was a first for me and which I greatly appreciated. I have an action plan in the interim.

We are just getting acquainted-we're new to each other. Despite that newness, Dr Lena dealt comfortably with my issues and questions. I felt comfortable talking with him and bringing up items on my list. We could have used more time.

Dr. Lena is a doctor who listens to what I have to say and addresses my concerns. He took the time to explain things and did not rush through the appointment like some doctors do. He showed me that my health mattered.

I was extremely impressed with Dr Lena. He was very thorough and organized in his approach to this visit. This was a visit to establish care with Dr Lena and to follow up on issues that came up on ER/Hospital visit. He reviewed and addressed all the issues from that visit and the follow up visits with specialists. He set up follow up plans for all the issues.

This was the first encounter I had with this physician. He introduced himself and gave some information about his background and education. This was very helpful as Providence has not yet developed Its website for him. He allowed and encouraged me to express my concerns, while he also zeroed in on conditions that he was concerned about. This physician presented options for care, but allowed me to make choices without feeling I had refused what might have been the better recommendation. He laid out his plan for future care, such as periodic lab studies that were necessary for the medications I am taking. There Is not a negative experience for me to report. Thank you.

New doctor to me presented himself well and won my confidence.

From the front reception , to getting all the vitals from the medical staff it was excellent. I am a new patient to Dr Lena and he put me at ease right away. When I had questions he was sure to rephrase them I was impressed with the relay of information about all the tests my prior Dr had given Dr Lena was reassuring and kind. As a former EMT with clinical experience, I say that Dr. Lena is one of the most thorough and caring physicians I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Dr Leno was great. He showed interest in my physical concerns and made recommendations that help.

The doctor never told me the test results because I am hooked up to my chart and I look at the test results myself in my chart. I also make appointments now in my chart, and I love my chart.

You forgot to include My Chart conversations. Over the past Dr Lena and his Nurses have been awesome helping me work through side effects and working on how to increase dosages of my new medication.

Much better communication during this visit compared to last visit (first time visit). Didn't feel as rushed and Dr. Lena seemed more relaxed and ready to listen.

This was my initial appointment with Dr. Lena. My previous provider left the practice. Dr. Lena was prepared having read my file before the appointment. He was prepared, ask good questions, and changed a prescription he felt needed tweaking. I am very pleased with Dr. Lena.

*Everyone* in this office, from the receptionist, to the security guard, to clerks who weren't even seeing us but just passing in the hall, were exceptionally kind and caring, ESPECIALLY Dr. Lena!!! We couldn't be more blessed to have found him as mothers' doctor, and respect his honest and obvious concern towards doing what's best for his patients! Dr Lena and I met for the first time on this visit. He did very well dealing with a new patient--had a good grasp of my history and made good recommendations and explanations. I think we'll do well together.

This physician seems very intelligent and seems to have an extreme amount of medical knowledge about many different medical conditions. He is extremely professional, kind, and caring. I am impressed and I will try to keep him as my primary care provider.

Having Dr Lena transferred to the Northern Lights clinic was very much welcomed. Close to home! After one year with Dr Lena I am very pleased with his attentiveness, compassion, and followup to my questions. We had seen two different Doctors the year prior and it's nice to settle on one. The only area I have a comment about...It's gotten better but sometimes the lag time between asking a question on the portal and getting an answer is too long. Medical issues need addressing quickly in my opinion.

Dr. Adrian Lena is the best! I have seen many internist/ primary care doctors in my life living in Connecticut, towns in Georgia, and now in Alaska. First impressions usually set the stage for the play If this is true then we're off to a great start Dr. Lena was both a good listener and great at explaining his thoughts on the topic. Setting up the tests needed and great at sharing the results as they come back I personally think he is an asset to the healthcare community.

The take-home instructions printed immediately after office visits each time have contained errors, such as listing medications on the medication list which I have been instructed to discontinue. The doctor is excellent in person, but perhaps not a very good proofreader.

Dr. Lena is my new PC(Internal Medicine) this was our 1st appointment, it went well, my follow up appointment is in September. Check back then.

I just want to say , I am very pleased with my provider! He is new to me and it was as if he knew everything he needed to start my exam! I truly trust his input, and hope he stay that way! It was a first visit with Dr. Lena. I was there for mainly drug renewal for the year. I am having problems with left groin strain and he did make referrals for care. It was not a long enough visit for a first time patient to go over all medical issues and medications as I thought was needed. It will be a learning to trust curve for both of us.

This was my first visit with Dr. Lena. When he came in, he knew everything about me! Meaning, he took the time out to thoroughly look through my chart before seeing me. That means a GREAT deal to me, as I'm very very ill and my case is complex. I'm very grateful and happy that he is my Dr.!

I am in my fifties; this was my very first non-emergent hospital visit. Ever. I felt it was a significant step in my health care journey to establish a Primary care provider. Doing so with Providence Primary care was quick and easy. I highly recommend anyone who finds themselves in a like-situation take the time necessary to contact & establish a primary care provider either through the providence website, or their own insurance as applicable. You won't regret the peace-of-mind at least knowing will give you.

I have only just recently changed providers & feel fortunate to have been able to join the clinic & being seen by Dr. Lena as his new patient. I have found this clinic/provider to be very thorough, organized & completely smooth in office operations. It is a refreshing change from my previous provider.
