Bhairavi D. Patel, MD

I received my medical education at Govt. Medical College, Surat- India. I was trained in Internal Medicine at Jamaica Medical Center- Queens New York. My special interest in Geriatrics lead me to purse training in Geriatric Medicine at New York University School Of Medicine New York. I worked for a group in North Carolina where my husband, a Physician was training for Neurology Specialty.

My job and purpose is to ensure that you are in the best health and have the tools you need to continue to be healthy adult and senior. My practice of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics utilizes common sense principles of medicine while being informed of the latest developments in the field.

As a human and a daughter I know the feeling of being overwhelmed with information of what is right for you and your parents and so I like to encourage discussion if you have any questions or concerns.
I learned from my patients to be grounded and humble. Knowledge and taking charge of one’s health is key. As a young child, I was always fascinated by our Family Physician and how he helped people to get well; therefore it inspired me to help others. If I was not a doctor, I’d be an Architect, designing buildings and houses.
