Dr. Garcia was running a little late but I understood as when I see him, he definitely shows a lot of care and was very detailed going over my labs and answering all my questions and current concerns. I've always felt heard and listened too and never felt super rushed even knowing In the back of my head they probably do need to rush because of all the patients they need to see. On this day he had a doctor shadowing/intern and he gave her an opportunity to check my vitals and get more hands on experience with patient care. For example, they both checked my breathing/heart on opposites side of me both listening concurrently.

Dr. Garcia is also my PCP, and he really understood all the health issues that I discussed with him. In addition, he is very proactive about my health & physical issues. For example, I told him that I am experiencing imbalance since my Epiretinal membrane surgery, and that as a direct result, there was a big disparity between the vision of my right eye and my surgically fixed left eye. Immediately, my PCP scheduled a referral for me to the CFM Wellness place on Imperial HiWsy in Brea. That was proactive action at its best, I think!Lastly, I asked him for a medication to give me relief for my external hemorrhoid which was giving me pain down there. He went back to my chart and started typing, then told me to pick up my prescription for Anusol at my designated pharmacy! That's when I told him, he's THE best - and his impromptu jokes made me laugh. I was still laughing on the way out of his office, and it felt good!
