Saba Akhtar, MD

When Dr. Underwood retired. We felt like we were without a ship. We could not get refurrals. Dr. Saba did not have appointments until Feb [Date]. However, When I called, They happened to have an opening the next day. Thank God because she was able to provide what I needed I know she has hard shoes to feel but She passed the test. I really liked her thoroughness and her concern.

Dr Ahktar is amazing

Dr Akhtar has been so kind and gracious to be a stand-in for Dr. Bisuna! I came with a list of questions and concerns and she stayed almost an hour until we had addressed everything. Dr. Akhtar doesn't have time to take me in as a new patient, but I am so grateful for the thoughtful care she provided.

This was was my first meeting with Dr. Akhtar. She was recommended by Dr. Underwood who was my prior doctor for over 20 years. Dr. Akhtar is exactly the type of doctor that fits my needs and personality.

The doctor listened carefully, seemed very knowledgeable, and explained what she recommended as well as writing it down. Frankly, I was very impressed.

Excellent service

This was my initial appointment with Dr. Akhtar. I have been seeing Dr. Underwood for my primary care but she is retiring and referred me to Dr. Akhtar. I was very impressed with Dr. Akhtar and am so happy I will be seeing her as my primary doctor going forward.

Questions answered

Dr. Did not check, eyes, throat ears or feel for lumps. In the report on my chart she wrote she did. She misspelled all of my Dr.s names although its on my chart. Very disappointing not going back.

The reason I selected "never" for the question regarding calling me about test results is because MyChart and Quest worked so seamlessly and I received the results so quickly which gave me the opportunity to proactively call my care provider, Dr. Saba Akhtar. I was able to schedule a virtual appointment to share my concerns and she graciously and professionally handled that virtual call. I am very grateful and appreciative of the wonderful care and professionalism of Dr. Ahktar and all of her staff.

Amazing. Our prior physician, Dr. Pino retired after 25 years as our internal medicine doctor. We did not think we would ever be able to replace him. BUT THEN Doctor Rudy Marquez referred us to Dr. Saba Ahktar and she IS AMAZING. We feel very blessed to have her as our Internal Medicine doctor. Thanks to her for taking us on, and thanks to Dr. Marquez for the referral. We are very happy with Mission Heritage group.

Dr, Akhtar was very kind. We discussed all of my medications and she refilled what was needed. We also discussed the recent blood work and the cataract surgery I had. If I was not entirely happy with Dr. Bisuna and would consider transferring to Dr. Akhtar.
