About Jessica L. Finley
Jessica L. Finley, MD, was born in Toronto, Canada, and grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She earned her BA in Human Biology at Stanford University and her MD at Oregon Health & Science University, and then she completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Providence Portland Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. When she completed her training, she worked as a hospitalist within the Providence system in Portland, Oregon. In 2020, she moved to LA to join the UCLA Hospitalist group where she cared for patients at Providence Saint John’s Health Center and multiple West LA skilled nursing facilities. She now is working as a Primary Care Physician at Saint John’s Physician Partners.
Dr. Finley places a strong emphasis on preventive care, shared decision making, wellness, and evidence-based medicine. From her experience working in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities as well as primary care clinics, she knows how to manage complex medical conditions in both acute and chronic settings. She understands how daunting the health care system can be, so she works hard to help her patients navigate the system and make informed decisions that fit with their goals. She likes getting to know her patients, from their health goals to their general interests.

When she is not in clinic, she enjoys traveling, movies, audiobooks, dance, and spending time with her husband. She loves the beach and hiking, so LA has been a wonderful adventure for her.
