About Steven D. Maness
My introduction to medicine was very early since my father was a family physician. I admired the respect his patients had for him and the help he provided them. I love science. I wanted a career where I could utilize science to the benefit of others. Medicine was the logical choice. My relationships with my patients have been the most gratifying aspect of practicing medicine. Preventive medicine is my primary goal but I am an expert at treating chronic disease. I have rubbed off some on my kids since my son is in anesthesiology residency and my daughter is an emergency medicine nurse. I take my job seriously. I realize what a privilege it is to be able to help people when they are vulnerable with illness but also share and connect with them on their unique journeys.

Four days after my initial appointment with Dr. Maness, I needed a follow up visit because my symptoms with a sinus infection were getting worse. I stopped by the office to see if I could make an appointment and the office staff were able to get me in the same day to see a PA who was very helpful.

I feel very confident being under his care.If I had to offer any constructive feedback, it would be about the overall atmosphere of the office. The space and energy felt a bit dated and somewhat reminiscent of the COVID-era - quiet and a little clinical. Refreshing the environment to feel more welcoming and current could really enhance the experience, especially given the excellent quality of care provided.
