About Charles R. Campbell
From an early age, I was drawn to the intricate balance of science and human connection that defines medicine. My passion for understanding the complexities of the human body, combined with a deep desire to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives, led me to pursue a career in healthcare. Throughout my journey, I have been privileged to care for patients in diverse settings, from primary care clinics to hospital environments, always striving to provide compassionate and evidence-based treatment. My experiences in both acute and long-term care have reinforced my belief that medicine is not just about treating illnesses but about empowering individuals to lead healthier lives.
My philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that each patient deserves a personalized approach that considers their unique medical history, lifestyle, and goals. I am committed to fostering strong doctor-patient relationships built on trust, communication, and shared decision-making. By integrating the latest advancements in medicine with a holistic understanding of each patient's needs, I strive to provide comprehensive and compassionate care. Whether managing chronic conditions, addressing acute illnesses, or focusing on preventive medicine, my goal is to help my patients achieve optimal health and well-being. Above all, I am deeply committed to making a difference in my patients' lives and contributing to the field of internal medicine with dedication and integrity.
I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. My education also includes an intensive language training program at Kansai Gaikokugo Daigaku in Osaka, Japan. Following medical school, I pursued my residency in Internal Medicine at Blue Ridge Internal Medicine Residency in Morganton, North Carolina, where I gained hands-on experience in patient care across a wide range of medical conditions.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy exploring different cultures, particularly through language and travel. My studies in Japanese language and literature have allowed me to connect with diverse communities and broaden my perspective on global healthcare. I have also participated in medical mission work, providing care to underserved populations in Kenya. In my free time, I enjoy engaging in outdoor and indoor activities, spending time with my family, and continually expanding my knowledge in both medicine and personal interests.

I Went in for a routine appointment. I had also had a sprayed ankle that I had seen a doctor at an urgent care facility. I had also had a CAT scan. So when I went in for this routine appointment. I had also had a sprayed ankle that I had seen a doctor at an urgent care facility for . I had also had a CAT scan. So by the time I went in to see Dr. Campbell it was the first time I had all the information with the doctor that I could talk with about my foot. Dr. Campbell and I did discuss my foot. I showed him an ongoing rash that I have on my body that I can't get rid of and he said we couldn't talk about it today that we would have to schedule another appointment to talk about it. My rash has scabs on it because many times I scratch it because it is so itchy and he didn't seem to think that that was something we could talk about at that appointment. He told me to use Cera Ve on it. I told him I usually use a prescription antibiotic when it would get bad. He said he wouldn't prescribe it for me and to only use the Cerave. I would like a new doctor. I don't feel Dr. Campbell is experienced enough and that he's still a young doctor and I've always had an experienced internist but this practice has given me a DO since then I'm just not getting the care I need. I have several ongoing medical issues that I have spent years honing in with doctors and I'm in a good place and I just felt like Dr. Campbell wasn't hearing me in what my regimen was. So now I have to make another appointment to have this taken care of. I'm not real happy right now.
Providence Patient
First time with this Doc. There must have been a cancellation;I was able to be seen the day I went online to book a visit. He listened and answered my concerns. He assured me my sciatica pain and consequent lower back pain did indeed need time to heal, and I was doing all the right things. He offered to send an order for physical therapy if I needed one. Great for me to meet a new Doc within the group.

Today this was a substitute doctor for me because my regular dr gets called to the military. I called in the morning and was there in the afternoon, as my computer was down and I could not get a virtual appt.Being it was my lungs I was worried, but got x-ray some day and I'm OK. Excellent service.
