Edmund H. Torkelson, DO

Dr. Torkelson is from Seattle, Washington. He attended the University of Washington for his undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science in Psychology) and went on to medical school in Pomona California (College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific) where he graduated with the degree of Doctor of Osteopathy. He then fulfilled a one year rotating internship at Grandview Hospital and Medical Center in Dayton, OH before completing his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. After his residency he stayed at St. Vincent as the Chief Resident/Junior Faculty for 1 year. He has been in private solo practice in Portland/Beaverton, Oregon since 1996 to present. He is on medical staff at Providence St. Vincent Hospital. He is board certified (American Board of Internal Medicine) in the speciality of Internal Medicine. He lives in Aloha, Oregon with his wife, Ann and their two children, Abigail and Jonathan. Dr. Torkelson has been to Haiti 3 times with medical missions team and looks forward to more of these trips in the future.
