About Hongshi Xu
Dr. Hongshi Xu is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible for certification in nephrology. After graduation from medical school, Dr. Xu held an academic nephrology position in Shanghai, China. He received his Ph.D. in the field of kidney transplantation and has done extended nephrology research at OHSU. Dr. Xu came to the United States in 2000. He completed his internship and residency at Yale-affiliated St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, Conn., and completed his nephrology fellowship at the University of Chicago. Dr. Xu is fluent in Mandarin.
