About Jacob P. Casey
Jacob Casey, MD, loves connecting with people. In his medical practice, he emphasizes that personal connection by building a level of trust and encouraging patients to reach their full potential. “I chose primary care because it supports people to get healthy and stay healthy,” he says.
With a patient-centered philosophy of care, Dr. Casey believes that his role is to be a companion to patients as they journey through life. “Patients are their own best advocates,” he observes. “That’s why when they take charge of their health, they can achieve the most profound changes in their lives.” Dr. Casey feels fortunate to work with patients from diverse backgrounds and is proud to be a LGBTQ-friendly provider who welcomes all.
Dr. Casey earned his medical degree from the University of Washington’s School of Medicine in Seattle and went on to complete his internship and residency training at Providence’s Internal Medicine Residency Program. He has served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Jordan.
Born in California and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Casey loves and values time with his immediate family. When not at work, he also enjoys weight lifting, running, classical music, coffee, and spending time at the beach.
