Dr. Jesse Powell has been my PCP for several years. He and his staff consistently do a great job. Importantly, he listens to his patients as does his staff.

Dr. Powell is the most caring and competent physician I have ever worked with, and makes my interaction with him a pleasure. He knows my health history and conditions and always answers my quesitons with thoughtful advice and suggestions.

Smart and easy to talk with

I did not exactly take prescription medications in the last 3 months. My provider ordered certain over the counter supplements to address issues in my lab tests for 2 abnormal results. He called me at home the next day to talk about my test results. My provider goes the extra mile to address health issues. He is a great listener, great communicator and I and I have (for me) a very high trust in this provider than I have experienced before I signed up for Providence care.

My appointment with Dr. Powell was my first. He was friendly, open, knowledgeable, a good listener and very helpful with answering my questions. My previous doctor was a student doctor and I had problems trying to set up an appointment with him. I tried twice online, finding no available appointments. I finally called to set up an appointment and explained my frustration, not just with setting up an appointment, but with being shuffled from student doctor to another. I told the receptionist I would prefer a regular staff doctor and she recommended Dr. Powell. She was very helpful and so was Dr. Powell. I look forward to a stable relationship with him.
