About Kimberly J. Herder
In her medical practice, Kimberly Herder, MD, stresses the importance of preventive health care to her patients by serving as an educator and advocate. "I have a strong belief in the importance of health maintenance," she says. Dr. Herder, who is board certified in internal medicine, earned her medical degree from the University of Alberta School of Medicine in Edmonton, Alberta. She completed her internship and residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Dr. Herder was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Away from her practice, she enjoys snowboarding, scuba diving, hiking, reading and traveling.

Dr. Herder has been my physician for several years and has always provided excellent care. Since I am on lifelong warfarin therapy for massive pulmonary emboli, including a saddle embolus, I receive warfarin management from the PPMC Anticoagulation Clinic, and I consider them part of my care team. Like Dr. Herder, all care received through the PPMC ACC has been excellent and timely.
