About Linda M. Hungerford
Linda Hungerford, MD, feels that active, careful listening is the key to good primary care. "Patients want to know they have been heard," she says. "I believe a physician who knows her patients well provides the best care. Continuity is the true basis of primary care."
Linda earned her medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. She completed both her residency and internship at Providence Portland Medical Center. She is board certified in internal medicine.
An Oregon native, Dr. Hungerford speaks German and a little Nepali - the result of six months of missionary work in Nepal. She and her husband continue to support medical and mission work in developing countries. They have five children.
