About Richard L. Hsu
Richard Hsu, MD, works to be a partner in his patients' health care, providing the best possible care while emphasizing education and prevention. "A successful doctor-patient partnership requires participation and commitment from both sides," he says. "The better my patients understand their condition, the better we can work together toward improved health."
Dr. Hsu is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Providence Portland Medical Center.
Born in Taiwan, Dr. Hsu spent most of his life in Chicago before moving to Portland for his residency. He speaks Taiwanese and Mandarin in addition to English.
