Lucas R. Banter, MD

This was my first appointment with Dr. Banter as my primary care physician. He was attentive and informative. He did not rush and even took time to bring up google maps to make sure we had the right pharmacy. At the conclusion of my visit he was genuine In his offer to be available to respond to any questions or Issues that I may have before my next annual. As an aside, I am attempting to move my care from Seattle Polyclinic closer to a practice near my Kirkland home. I first tried Overlake but they were unable to address my needs. So I am now hopeful that I can focus my medical care under the Swedish roof.

Dr. Banter is an excellent doctor. He is very kind, patient, and understanding. He listens carefully to my concerns and takes the time to explain things clearly. I feel that he truly cares about his patients and always tries to find the best way to help. I really appreciate his professionalism, compassion, and thoughtful care. I am very grateful to have him as my doctor.

It was an intake meeting after I had to change my pcp and I was very impressed with how knowledgeable he was and how willing he was explain and to listen to my thoughts as well. He was respectful and collaborative.

Provider and staff were great. Facilities are not. Patients shouldnt be able to hear medical staff talking while waiting in the exam room.

Everyone from the Front Desk staff to the MA to Dr. Banter, was wonderful. This was an exceptional service with an exceptional office, staff and physician.

I have seen Dr. Lucas Banter a few times over the past several months, and I have consistently found him to be an experienced, skilled, thoughtful, and compassionate physician. Most recently, I saw him for a concern that had previously been assessed elsewhere. Dr. Banter performed a careful and thorough examination of the area of concern and did not simply dismiss the finding. He recognized that further evaluation was appropriate and arranged additional investigations promptly. As a physician myself, I especially appreciated the thoroughness of his clinical examination and his clinical judgment. He is also very warm, respectful, empathetic, and takes my concerns seriously. I have felt very comfortable and well cared for during my visits with him.

Banter has been an incredible support. I have been impressed with his willingness to hear me. With a couple autoimmune issues he has taken the time to listen to the symptoms and help diagnose, or follow up. I am very thankful for him and his advice.

I have seen a few Doctors in my life and rarely trusted any of them, Dr. Banter is the BEST Physician I have ever had the good fortune of meeting and he will be my Doctor for life. My experience with Doctors in the past lead me to Believe that their number one interest was making sure I could pay my bill and that they get me in and out of their office as quickly as possible. Dr. Banter genuinely made me feel like he cared about me and that he wanted to work WITH ME regarding my health decisions.

When I do an xray, I would expect to get back the xray images, not just the summary and evaluation.

I like my PCP, he is friendly, listens to me carefully, easy to talk to, and provided professional recommendations.

This was an appointment to establish care. We are new to the area from the Southeast. This provider and medical team far exceeded our expectations for care, compassion, kindness, and joy in the job they do. We were so impressed after receiving care in another system. Swedish far outranks where we are transferring from down South. We are excited to be part of Dr. Banter's panel!
