This was an initial visit to establish care, and Dr. Unnisa took the time to understand my medical history, listened to my concerns, and with no friction, helped me set up the continuing care I need. This was the best first visit possible.

All good experiences, Dr Unnisa is very thorough and kind, patient, listens to any concerns and questions.

My provider is very respectful, knowledgeable and really cares.

I did not have a good experience with this provider. I went in as a new patient, wanting to get my annual labs done. My provider did not show a lot of care for what I wanted during this visit. I was asked by the nurse/PA before the doctor showed up if I wanted to do my pap smear today and I declined. The PA respected my wishes and communicated them to the doctor. As soon as the doctor came in the room, she made no effort to get to know me or my health concerns besides what I wrote on the paper and even seemed like she was trying to get through the appointment as soon as possible. When she noticed I had declined the pap smear, she asked me multiple times why I didn't want to do it. I had to tell her how I wanted to do it at a later time to which she commented would be a "waste of time". When she was prepping to do my breast exam, I noticed she was also prepping for a pap smear (even after I had declined multiple times). I had to tell her again that I did not want that exam done today. She finally listened, and began examining my breasts. She seemed annoyed that I had declined so I finally accepted to do the pap smear because at this point I just wanted to get it over with so I didn't have to see her again. She did the pap smear, it was fine and very quick. While I had no pain or any problems with the actual procedure, she made no effort to make me feel comfortable as a new patient. I felt pressured to get the procedure done even though I had explained to her that it felt invasive to me and I was quite scared to do it. She also made assumptions about my sexual history and claimed that I should be fine with the pap smear because I had noted I was sexually active (in my opinion, she shouldn't have assumed what I was okay with based on the sexual history information I disclosed to her). I would not recommend this provider and I'm not planning on seeing her for any of my visits in the future.

Dr Unnisa found a recommendation that a specialist had made earlier that allowed me to forego an out of network provider and save a few thousand dollars. So appreciate her catch!

I feel comfortable with Dr.Rafat, I have established a good relationship with my doctor and I feel like she cares about me and is honest about my care.Dr Rafat has been clear about what I need to be doing or not doing to keep my healthy. I am glad I was able to find a doctor that doesn't treat me like a number. Sometimes its hard in the Healthcare industry to find genuine care providers that have good bedside manor and or aren't obviously overworked. I have several health issues and have been receiving care for my conditions for over 10 years now.So I can honestly say I've experienced alot of different levels of health care over the years. My provider cares about me and has been honest and frank with me about my conditions. I appreciate the Dr.Rafat.

She noted that my condition needed immediate attention but was not medically serious or dangerous. So I felt reassured.

Always a good and informative visit. Only complaint is the length of time before seeing MD for a routine follow up appt. No idea what the solution is- unless encourage more students to peruse Medical degrees.

Dr. Unnisa was very enthusiastic about getting me help and ordered plenty of tests just to check on things. I also really appreciated that she did not tell me it was good news that nothing major showed up on the tests after I had talked to her about how bad I felt. She was very straightforward and noted even minor abnormalities in my results. I'm looking forward to following up with her after I finish some of the last tests.

I saw Dr Unnisa for a Wellness Check, I need to make another appointment with her after I have my blood drawn. PacMed keeps me alive!
