When I was growing up, I saw how illness affected my family, so it was a big driving force for me to go into internal medicine. I know many patients are a bit anxious the first time they see a new doctor, so I like to put them at ease. And I always maintain a sense of empathy with my patients. I encounter different people from all walks of life, and I take the time to understand their point of view and the emotions they feel that may be related to their health.

My GP was new due to my old one leaving. Even though I am not. New patient ren minutes was not enough time with the doctor. She did an excellent job trying to be thorough in the time she was allowed.

This was my first met with Dr Thylhamer! It was quick but covered everything! My appt with her was in the pm so the Lab work I needed I had to wait until this am to get. I had never been informed that we now have to sign up ourselves for an appt. So did have to wait a long time to be seen. For those of us of age we must be notified when changes like these come up. I remember to ck the Providence portal after I have had labs done. But I don't go to the portal any other time!
