Lindsay B. Johnson, FNP

As a lactation specialist, Lindsay’s most important role is to educate, encourage and empower women and their growing families to achieve their feeding goals. “I really enjoy being able to offer guidance and support to my patients and their families during this exciting yet often challenging time.”

Lindsay provides care that is individualized and evidence-based. She works closely with her patients to help them make informed decisions about their care. “Building relationships with my patients is one of things I enjoy most about my job,” she says. She sees patients at the Mother and Baby Clinics at Providence Portland, St. Vincent, and Willamette Falls Medical Centers.

Born and raised in Upstate New York, Lindsay came to the West Coast to play lacrosse at the University of Oregon, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in human physiology. She attended Nursing school at Mercy School of Nursing in Charlotte, NC and completed her master's degree in nursing at Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Ky. She also earned international board certification as a lactation consultant (IBCLC).

Today, Lindsay is happily settled back in Oregon with her husband and their three children. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, coaching lacrosse and cheering on her kids in their various sports.
