Mary Megan W. Koski Vogt, CNM

Mary was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She attended Scripps College in Claremont, California for her Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American studies and sociology. She received her master’s degree in the nurse midwifery program at the Yale University School of Nursing, where she was honored as a Sigma Theta Tau inductee.

Mary recognizes that while pregnancy and childbirth are very rewarding experiences, they can also be challenging. One of her goals in working with women during this time is to help them discover and build confidence in their deep physical, mental and emotional strength. She also enjoys helping families understand and take ownership of their many choices during these transitions.

Mary has a special interest in working with young women to provide education and guidance as they begin to navigate reproductive healthcare and family planning options. She finds the process of empowering women to understand, appreciate and care for their bodies rewarding.

In her free time, Mary races both outrigger canoes and dragonboats and enjoys many other outdoor activities with her husband and two dogs. She is also an amateur cellist and a passionate reader.
