Eric L. Cheung, MD

Dr. Cheung joined Nephrology Associates in 2014. A SoCal native, he completed his medical school and residency at the LAC-USC County Hospital. Afterwards, he finished a 4-year fellowship in Adult-Pediatric Nephrology in Houston. Despite enjoying his time in Houston, he was only too eager to return to California after soaking up the Texas humidity for 4 years. He has a special interest in glomerular disease and CKD care of non-dialysis patients for the diagnosis and prevention of CKD progression. He enjoys spending his off-time with his young family, balancing work and raising his daughter and son alongside his wife Lisa. Embarrassingly unathletic, he continues to play the piano regularly in an ongoing effort to impress his wife. He is the medical director of the Santa Rosa Satellite Dialysis Unit. He sees patients in our Santa Rosa Clinic.
