About Elizabeth L. Stock
Liz Stock is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist specializing in Stroke and Neuro Critical Care.
With more than 12 years of experience at Mission Hospital, she has cared for patients with stroke, traumatic injuries, and complex neurological conditions and developed a passion caring for critically ill patients. Liz provides advanced, evidence-based management for neurological emergencies, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, traumatic brain injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage and seizures.
Liz earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills, her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts, and Post-Graduate Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Clarkson College.
In addition to her clinical expertise and commitment to evidence-based best practices, Liz is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient and family-centered care, supporting patients and their loved ones during some of the most challenging and vulnerable moments of their lives.
