Dr. Jamison really listens and cares about our health! He is very thorough and explains everything in detail! He is very anxious to get to the root of your problem and wants to get it corrected! He's a wonderful doctor!!

We waited about an hour to see Dr.Jamison this visit due to an emergency with another patient. It was not a big deal to us, because normally we wouldn't have much of a wait at all.

Dr. Jamison is terrific! I have had neuromuscular issues over the last 7 years, and he's the first provider I've had who (a) watched me walk and homed in on my gait, then (b) ordered MRI imaging - which showed a number of lesions in my brain. MS was suspected, but the LP did not confirm. But at least I have physiological evidence that explains my symptoms. I will be following up with re-imaging at the 1-year mark to determine if any changes have occurred.And he listened and responded appropriately to all my many questions!

All good so far.

My provider performed a test I requested and communicated the results in an understandable way. He gave me what I wanted.

This was a follow-up visit with Dr. Jamison. Both appoitnments were acutally "enjoyable." Dr. Jamison was professional, respectful, and fun to talk with despite the needles he stuck In my arm and shoulder:) The office staff was extremely courteous and friendly.

The doctor and his staff were very knowledgeable. They also ordered a new prescription for a new medication as well as providing an explanation for It.

Dr. Jamison thoroughly reviewed my documented history, and after asking me questions and performing the basic neuromuscular exam, asked to see me walk. He noticed gait irregularities and decided to investigate a different diagnostic path than my prior neuro. Dr. Jamison's thoroughness and observation might finally lead to a diagnosis after nearly 7 years!

I like this doctor because he gives me all my options to try to help manage my headaches and he works with my heart doctor to get the right kind of medication that is safe for me to take

I was pleased that when my wife and I had a concern about my condition (new symptoms) and I contacted Dr. Jamison's practice through MyChart, they got back to me right away and I was offered an appointment very quickly.

Dr. Jamieson is a very intelligent & professional neurologist. He is personable & a very good listener. I feel he has my best interest at heart & takes care of me medically speaking. I feel fortunate to be one of Dr. Jamieson's patients.

Providers office called and was about to get me an appointment sooner due to a cancelation. The provider seemed to listen to my thought and concerns. They seemed to have access to my medication and most medical history and gave clear information as to their thoughts on my condition. Advised to follow up with Pcp in 6 to 8 weeks and then follow up with this provider if needed in the future. Explained new medication clearly as well as time frame to take them and side effect. Knowledgeable about if medications were safe to take while breastfeeding an infant.

Dr Jamison went above and beyond to help me find a hand surgeon.

My experience with this provider was excellent. First time I've had a professional physician, ask me and talk to me about type one diabetes and the effects of long-term diabetes on nerves. This information was extremely helpful in moving forward to figure out how to deal with the issues coming up.

He what great it just took me a long time to get an appointment after my referral

I have found that the Providence East Portland staff is very welcoming and courteous. I had asked to change the location for my appointments on more than one occasion, when I first began to see Dr. Jamison. That request was refused. Then, finally, after having had to travel the more lengthy, frightening, and uncomfortable distance to Oregon City for several appointments, I was able to see Dr. Jamison at the East Portland location. I very much like the staff, from the front desk, to the room in which I would see Dr. Jamison from the very beginning. I have always been treated with dignity and respect at the newer location. I thank everyone there for that. Dr. Jamison is personable, friendly, interested in how I have been since the last appointment three months before the current one. He is outstandingly skilled, precise, gentle, and compassionate while giving injections. I highly recommend him.

I have appreciated the help from all of my providers and technicians in the Providence group. I also am thankful they are listening and understand my condition isn't in my head but a so far undiagnosed chronic condition. This give me hope for a potential cure or at least a treatment that may improve my quality of life. Much love form me to the neurological team and their support staff.

The initial appointment and conversation with Dr. Jamison was about the results of a lumbar spine scan - we quickly decided surgery was not a good option. But Dr. Jamison inquired about other health issues with genuine interest, and Identified out a medication that could help with my chronic insomnia and vivid dreaming without significantly increasing my risk of falling. This medication has been a great help, and I very much appreciate Dr. Jamison taking the extra time to identify a key problem and a safe way to address it.
