Dr. Bazan thoroughly explained the EMG/NCS results and ruled out progressive large-fiber nerve disease, which was reassuring. We also had a thoughtful discussion about small-fiber nerve biopsy and why it was unlikely to change treatment. She recommended blood work and gabapentin for symptom management. After the visit, I would have appreciated clearer guidance on additional non-medication options or referrals (e.g., mechanical or foot-specific evaluation) to address ongoing pain and numbness.

Dr. Bazan performed a nerve conduction/EMG test on me, so it wasn't a typical type of medical appointment.

Dr Bazan listened carefully to my concerns and provided superb care for my condition. She ran some tests on my muscular condition and provided some helpful suggestions on stopping my weight loss. Overall a very successful visit.

I feel like Dr. Bazan conducted a thorough test for the parts I was able to address. Some of the test was not completed due to pain, at my request. Dr. Bazan not only answered every question she was expected to address and did an impressive job with the exam, she handled an emotional patient in pain (me) professionally, and helped me calm down and understand the process. I felt safe and confident when I left there, as I always do at Providence.
