About Katherine N. Rivas Sevilla

I am a neurologist and fellowship-trained neuroimmunologist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with neurological disorders. I believe in treating the whole person, taking the time to listen, educate, and partner with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and goals. I come from a hardworking family that instilled in me the values of perseverance, compassion, discipline, respect, patience, and courage. These principles continue to guide both my personal life and my approach to medicine. I am proud to have completed my training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where I had the privilege of learning from outstanding mentors while serving the West Texas community. It is an honor to continue that journey as a member of the medical staff in the Lubbock area, where I am committed to delivering high-quality neurological care and building lasting relationships with my patients.

Outside of work, Katherine enjoys spending time with her family and making the most of life's everyday moments. Being a mother is one of the most meaningful parts of her life, and it has strengthened her appreciation for compassion, patience, and the importance of building trusting relationships. She also enjoys cooking and trying new recipes. Pilates is another passion of hers, helping her stay active, manage stress, and prioritize her own well-being. These experiences remind Katherine of the value of balance and self-care, and they inspire the compassionate, personalized approach she strives to provide for every patient.
