Great care

I was put at ease by tech who led me to exam room,took my vitals and confirmed the reason for my visit. It was explained to me that this was a primary visit and the procedure I had been referred for would be scheduled during this visit. When Kathleen came in she was extremely knowledgeable about my problem, changed some medication, and scheduled EMG, explaining she would contact me when results came in and work on continued course of treatment. I has been suffering for several years and she along with PCP have finally helped me see the end of the tunnel. There is no cure but pain is being controlled.

She paid attention- very good bedside manner.

My care was most excellent, and Dr. Brown explained things clearly and concisely with great compassion.

Kathleen Brown, ARNP saw me for dementia. I had several family members with me and Kathleen welcomed all of us with a smile and treated us with respect. She answered all our questions and saw that I was very concerned and upset regarding my diagnosis. She was compassionate and empathetic giving me specific things I can do to help with my dementia. I left the appointment smiling instead of fighting back tears. My family and I left feeling calmer and ready to do all we can to keep my brain as healthy as possible.

1st visit new New patient we were very pleased with the professional manner in which they helped us

She was easy to talk to and I felt very comfortable with her. She gave the Impression of having great knowledge and expertise In her field. She explained my test results and suggested I get an MRI of my brain to add to information about my cognitive abilities for the future. I have not scheduled that test yet, but will when it is OK'd by insurance.

Dr Brown was the first practitioner I saw that didn't dismiss my symptoms. She was thoughtful, provided problem-solving tools, and made me feel like I was heard. Although she wasn't able to help me in a larger scale, I appreciated her taking me through her thought process and ordering tests to determine certain outcomes. She was also the first doctor to encourage me to keep working with my nutritionist - THE FIRST! - which really eased my skepticism and how I thought my case would be treated since I was referred to Dr Brown by a GI Specialist (who wasn't very helpful...). Long story short - Dr Brown was great.

In addition to addressing the reason I was there, she also identified other ways to help me including changing a medication form so that I only have to take one pill instead of three. She also places a referral that resulted in me getting care much sooner than it would have otherwise. I highly recommend Kathleen Brown NP.
