This visit with Dr. Liu was my very first meeting with her, always a little stressful situation for me, meeting a new physician for the first time. She put me at ease, was aware of my medical history, and was very familiar with the symptoms of my condition we discussed--providing and describing various procedures available to help ease each one. Dr. Liu was focused on me and my general health, asking me throughout the appointment whether I have any questions or concerns, and gave me a positive general appraisal of my overall condition, which I greatly appreciated.

I received a very thorough exam with very good explanation of the findings and now to proceed.

She was compassionate, empathetic, extremely knowledgeable about all factors affecting both my healthcare and quality of life. Able to answer questions I have had about Parkinson's disease and associated changes in quality of life going forward as well as provide relevant information about modalities, appliances and simple purchases such as easy to get into and out of shoes for persons with my diagnosis. I would highly recommend her to any patient requiring medical treatment/advice, etc.

I felt she clearly understood my concerns, tested adequately to confirm my concerns, and defined the extent of my condition. She then thoroughly reviewed possible medications for treatment and ruled out some based on my CKD condition, some based on side effects suffered previously. At that point we discussed alternatives for now and for the future. We agreed on a path and she described the process I'd go through to initiate it. I left feeling well educated and well prescribed for control over my condition.
