About Michelle M. Williams
Dr. Michelle Williams knew she wanted to be a neurosurgeon since high school. She was inspired after reading the story of Phineas Gage, an American railroad foreman who suffered a traumatic brain injury in the 1800s. Gage’s survival and recovery set an early medical standard for the treatment of brain injuries. For Dr. Williams, the most satisfying part of her job is working with patients she knows she can help. She feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to improve people’s lives.
