About Genevieve M. S. Lapointe
Dr Genevieve Lapointe is a fellowship neurosurgeon who specializes in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery as well as brain tumor surgery. She completed medical school and residency at Universite Laval in Quebec City, Canada. She then completed a year of fellowship at St Louis University in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery followed by a fellowship at the University of Florida focusing her expertise in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery as well as stereotactic radiosurgery. She is committed to providing patient centered care grounded in compassion, excellence, and safety. Her approach combines evidence-based knowledge and surgical techniques with clear communication and thoughtful decision making in a collaborative environment. She is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes while preserving function dignity and quality of life. Outside of medicine Dr Lapointe enjoys spending time with friends and family. She has recently discovered a passion for bioethics and is enrolled in a graduate program.
