About Eddie K. H. Yap
Dr Yap is a board-certified Neurosurgeon and Neuroendovascular specialist who specializes in the treatment of cerebrovascular conditions with expertise spanning aneurysms, stroke, ICH, and advanced endovascular therapies. His practice also focuses on tumor pathologies of the brain and spine such as meningiomas and metastasis. He completed his neurosurgery residency at UNC Chapel Hill, followed by a fellowship at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Dr. Yap is also involved in continuing education and serves on the CNS online education board and is adjunct faculty at UNC.

Dr. Yap is a gifted surgeon. His complete knowledge, which he shared, of my particular stroke condition was impressive. I feel fortunate that he was available to perform the surgery I needed and there was no wait time. My follow up appt. Was Encouraging and reassuring.

Dr. Yap saw me in the ER a week before I saw him for my initial visit in the office. He remembered me he knew what I was coming in for and if I was still in that much pain, he had already set side for the following Tuesday, I saw him on a Thursday so the following Tuesday he set aside time for me to have my surgery. I had my surgery. It has been smooth sailing and his office is incredible.
