My experience with this OB\-GYN during my pregnancy and miscarriage was extremely disappointing since the begging. Going through a miscarriage is one of the most painful experiences a person can face, and I did not feel supported or cared for by my provider. She messaged me through my chart to tell me that the baby's heartbeat was on the lower side and probably a miscarriage Instead of calling me. She worried me for an entire week about the situation. I felt rushed, my concerns were dismissed, and I was not given clear information about what to expect during the miscarriage or recovery. I was left with many unanswered questions and had to seek information elsewhere because I did not feel I was receiving the guidance I needed.Compassion and communication are just as important as medical treatment, especially during pregnancy loss. Unfortunately, I did not feel empathy or emotional support during one of the hardest moments of my life. No patient should have to feel alone or unheard while experiencing a miscarriage.I hope this practice takes patient feedback seriously and works to improve communication, compassion, and the quality of care provided to patients experiencing pregnancy loss.
